Hello! I am Nevonda V. Jackson, PharmD and Modern Etiquette Consultant. I am the owner and founder of Social Graces Academy of Etiquette. I am a pharmacist by profession and an etiquette consultant by vocation. I am very passionate about teaching you how to live a lifestyle of elegance by helping you become the very best version of yourself, personally, professionally, and socially.

I’m sure you’re wondering, “Why do I need etiquette? Isn’t it for old snooty rich people?” The answer is NO! Etiquette training is for everyone, from every walk of life! Many people falsely believe that etiquette and proper manners are irrelevant in our modern society. Did you know that proper decorum is one of the most important qualities a person can have? If you are in the habit of using good manners, it will come naturally to you! You will positively stand out and others will admire and respect you more for it. What a confidence booster, right? In my opinion, the absolute most rewarding element about exhibiting courteous behavior, is the relationships that can be developed as a result of it! Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, is relationship based nowadays. Remember, you only get one shot at creating a great first impression. Future suitors, future employers, and future clients are watching!

Now that you know who I am and why etiquette training is so important, let’s discuss how you can get in on the action. Etiquette and polite social behaviors were traditionally taught in the home around the dining table. Now that more and more families no longer gather at the table and society as a whole has become much more casual, the art of etiquette has fallen to the wayside. At Social Graces, we aim to revive it! We endeavor to provide you with the necessary skills to help you engage and connect with those around you.

Now that you understand my passion for elegant living, let me tell you a little more about myself. As mentioned above, I am a Doctor of Pharmacy and I practice at a world renowned pediatric research hospital. I am married to the love of my life and business partner, Lt. Larry D Jackson, Jr of the Shelby County Fire Department. We have 3 amazing sons, Jaylen, Kaleb, and Langston. Proper etiquette is as important to each of them as it is to me.
